SPECIAL REPORT: END DISCRIMINATION OF PERSONS LIVING WITH LEPROSY

Over time, people believed that Leprosy is a spiritual attack, referring to what happened in the Bible. To this day, Persons affected with Leprosy have been stigmatized, discriminated from living a normal life like others. They are not given job, they are not even allowed to vote. According to Health practitioners, leprosy also known as Hansen's disease, is caused by Mycobacterium leprae (M. leprae )bacteria. In 2017 Florida reports 16 confirmed leprosy cases.
